While the northeast is known for being cold and snowy in the Winter and Spring seasons, Mainers have learned to make the best of it! Make a day of it, then return to the cabin for dinner and hot chocolate or sit around the outdoor fire pit to warm up from the inside out. Sebec Lake is the destination for some of the best ice fishing in the area but there are plenty of lakes to choose from to set up your bob house and traps and make a weekend out of it.
